Surf Spots

About the spots: one of the goals of this site is help accommodate and manage the ever expanding New England surf sports population. Due to the candid and comments received through the forums and This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , NESurf.com has come to the following conclusions:

  1. Expansion of theĀ  spots section is suspended until further notice.
  2. The spots listed were selected either because they were extremely well known, they were already listed on other sites or, in most cases, both.

Note: All breaks have special characteristics: some of these charactetics are depicted in the Spots section but most of them aren't. It will take practice and personal knowledge of various spots to determine which break best suit your needs. Don't stop exploring! If you are looking for new spots try Google Maps, Google Earth and NOAA Mapfinder Nautical Map. Also recommended are "The Surf Report" pamphlets relative to New England, Maine Waves, Massachusetts Public Access Map, Magic Seaweed's reports listings, Morebeach's listings, Global Surfers and wannasurf.com and purchase several good coastal maps (strongly recommended are DeLorme's Atlas & Gazetteerā„¢ - State Editions).
