...are a little late aren't they? The war's over and as much as I was against the war ever starting I am in favor of this occupation. At this stage I don't think there is another choice. If we leave now there will be a civil war which the U.S. will be blamed for (not to mention generation a huge terrorist breeding ground). Sorry but at this stage the only option is turning Iraq into a (or three) peaceful ally(ies).

So you "pacifists"* out there, take a hike. You're late. Three years late. Wake up already. If you really want to do something helpful push for a more multilateral approach to fixing Iraq, be against a hasty withdrawal and campaign to impeach Bush for the lies he told to get the war started.** The eggs are broken, you can't unbreak them. You can punish he who broke them though.

*Pacifist defined in this instance only as those opposed to the current occupation of Iraq.
**Which incidentally would work wonders to heal our relations with nations throughout the world.
