Has anyone out there ever been diagnosed with bony ear growth in their ear canal due to surfing in cold water? I recently lost the hearing in my left ear and went to a sppecialist who told me the bone had grwon so much it needed to be surgically removed or I would have continuing hearing problems.
I ended up leaving his office pretty bummed and bought a wax removal kit on the ride home, and used it like 5 times that night and my ear blockage popped open the next day. I don't wana rush into this, but thought there might be some folks out there who have experienced this "surfer's ear" problem and head to deal with it. thanks for any advice johnnyboy
