My parents are in town so I've "been busy."
What I overheard briefly on NPR was quite the opposite: that Lybia has been extremely helpful in turning over some terrorist. I just caught the tail end of the story so I don't know the context. In other words I didn't want to respond on something I have no clue about.
I want to know more (strong interest in Lybia because the proximity to Italy), anything you can find out could save me some research time.

Your post raises an important issue however: the mental laziness. Many people in the U.S. (and elsewhere) believe that just because a source is biased the whole story must be false. That is sheer stupidity!

Sometimes even biased sources have the truth on their side. You can't throw out the truth because it happens to be coming from a biased source.

P.S. I take it by your response you have even less knowledge on the subject than NPR... ...What does that make you?

I see where you're going with this. I don't like it. Bush's policies having a positive effect... Doesn't mean it can't be true, I'll have to do some research...
