Are are you using a ventilater in your new shop?
That's what happens when you don't sleep and own your business. I use north brand, $48 for the filters, they last 8hrs..

Hey Chino Why northbrand over 3M? Just curious. Maybe that is why my brain has been fried lately.
I must be a kook because some 16yo kid from the South Shore said so.....Cris and James suck balls. PS-James, stop posting pics on surfline of spots you shouldn't even be surfing. Douche.

I have about a month left to finish two boards before I am done for a year. No matter what I do my place stinks of PE. I forgot though, you are using epoxy right?

Do what everyone does in San Diego. shape boards and then the mexicans come up from ensenada, bring them back down to glass and poof! there done. they come up every week. I dont know if they take advantage or not...

You got marko foam, artic foam, walker(they still around?), usblanks truck drive threw every week. The supply truck ( used to be REVCAM) everthing you need on a truck. its the mactool truck of surf supplies!

everyone one and there mother makes boards out there.....

One thing i have on them, surfed most of newengland. I know how ours waves break/ when they break/what works.......

Hey D, when you coming back so we can kick it old school.. you havent even seen the new shop!

That makes sense for sure and will definitely help your business out given most or all of what you mentioned is non-existant in New England!!

OH yea I forgot to tell you a really long time ago that you should come up with a surfboard model called "The Flying CoChino" small wave groveler board with a piggy logo for the model!

Another thing that goes on in Cali/HI with shapers, especially the popular brands, are ghost shapers or finishers. Alot of brands use shaping machines for the general outline and then a ghost shaper finishes it, then it goes to a glass shop. Some finishers are better than others, some glassing sucks. Unless you speak directly to the shaper and order something specific, most boards are barely touched by the big-name shaper.

People were wanting to know who I went with to shape my new boards. I actually have two on the way right now. A 6'6" Quiver Punt Stick (6'6"x21.5"x2.75" future quad), and a 7'2" Custom by Tora loosely based on the Chili Purple Peppa that I was riding in Nicaragua (7'2"x23.5"x3" future quad). Psyched to ride these new sticks.

Kinda but at least we are hearing from some of the New England shapers on this thread and getting their points of view. This helps some of us understand the situation better based on a shaper's experience.

    interesting.....

luckily New England shapers have less competition from people just starting and making boards for very cheap prices..
