9'6-5 Stringer Red Board, With clear concaved oval nose, On the bottom, Blackfin, Wooden Tail Block. The name Mark is on the bottom, Next to the serial number.


The board was stolen in its custom made dark blue zippered board bag, With fin cover and velcro flap on the front opening.


Be on the lookout for two white males appearing to be in their early 20's driving a black {New Model} VW Beetle with NH plates The # is 1365743. These scumbags were seen trying to sell the board on August 25, They did sell another stolen board to a nearby surfshop within the last 2 weeks. The guy whos board got stolen is a great guy. A couple of years ago he ran into a burning building and carried people out on his back. I think he saved the whole family.

Yeah i've gotten my snowboard stolen and it sucked but i would much rather have that stolen than my surfboard. Anyways Wally, I dont think i'll see him much in Maine but i'll look out for the black beatles. Sorry, that sucks.

Mark (the guy who had His board stolen) told me that I guess the car is registered in Portsmouth but that is the leading suspects fathers car.

The kid I guess is out of Salem NH.

I have no idea why this is taking so long for the police to pursue this kid.

Worse case seceniro 2-SI (Shane) will make him somthing like what He had at cost.

I am getting so pissed off just reading this thread. I just can't fathom the utter lack of respect, the complete absence of decency it would take to steal something that you know another human being shelled out their hard-earned money to buy. And what kills me is you know this shithead would be soooo steamed if it happened to him.

Someone stole a bike from me one time and I happened to see the f-er riding it down the street. It was fun watching him fly over the handlebars when I ran up behind him and grabbed the seatpost. Funny how the body will keep moving even after the "vehicle" comes to a stop. Of course, he came to a stop too, when his head hit the pavement.

Anyway, that was just a beat up mountain bike. We're talking about a custom made G&S. This asshole deserves so much worse. I hope Mark gets his board back and I hope someone has an opportunity to introduce the thief to the business end of a hockey stick.

I'm betting if the cop was a surfer he might be more inclined, but then again they are supposed to uphold the law and like you said, kicking the shit outta someone is grounds for arrest. In my case, I never touched the thief, just sent him sailing when I pulled the bike out from under his skinny ass. The asphalt did the rest. I did call the cops to let them know what happened b/c they were going to "keep an eye out" for my bike. The officer I spoke with laughed his ass off.

Regarding the people you caught eyeing your car, I don't know if that's a sign there are more assholes in the world of surfing or if thieves are just getting wiser about the value of surf equipment. Either way it sucks.

I got a buddy who's a VA Beach cop and he says that boards being ripped off is a serious crime because of the pretty high value these days and if there's a couple boards ripped it can be worth over a grand, and that (grand theft) is serious & can get them locked up for sure. The cops gotta be involved here, fuck them guys let the cops throw em in jail for no other reason for being in a beetle :yup:
