Alright, this one is a big one. I have an old longboard for sale. Its a Bunger Surf board, from the late 60's. Asking $950. Its quality well exceeds the price. There are no dings, that haven't been professionally repaired, which there are only a few. It has a wooden box fin, glassed in obviously. There is no wax on it at all and still shines like new. I got it last year and haven't ridden it, don't really like long boards. pm if your interested. :surf:

haha, funny. yeah, well obviously i'm not in a real rush to sell it. i'm just throwing this out there. like i said, i'm getting a camera next week so i'll throw some pictures up and you can check it out and criticize whatever. yeah i'm almost positive that charlie bunger is the shaper, out of babylon, ny. i'm not going to reveal how i got the board (no i didn't steal it) but it was a random fling and i researched its background. late 60's model not sure what year exactly. its old school though, weighs close to 60 lbs.

Guess what? No ones in a hurry to pay $950 for a Bunger surfboard from the 60's. You can go on ebay and see boards shaped by Weber, Noll, Hobie , Hansen and Yater for the same money. So why dont you ask me how much the board is really worth. And as far as how you got it, I dont care, There are a million stories in the naked city.

I can get a NEW custom harbor 10'0 hp nose rider delivered to my house for less than that.

well, commander and cheif bush; wally proctor, whats your "professional opinion." not like i'm going to listen. but, proctor, are you a business man? i'm not a hard ass and apparently the only one relaxed in this discussion, so it is also obvious that some negotiations are to be involved with the deal. go to ebay if you want a board for less and stop bothering me.

Your 1960's Bunger surfboard, Was made between 1966 and 1969 in long Island

If its in Original condition, No Regloss or color changes.

If its got its original fin.

In 9 or 10 condition Its worth $500

You might find some Coo Coo bird from New York who only collects NY boards to pay a little more than that.

$950 Never

Looks like this surfboard has been exhorbitantly priced for unlikely aftermarket sale on messageboard. Seller should never have bit at invitation for professional valuation. Cat now seems to be out of bag.

Although this is too rich for my blood, at 60lbs, would seller throw in free football helmet, with full cage, plus pack of smelling salts.

Big differance between Greg Noll Da Cat and Bunger would you not say.

You trying to take advantage of that "vintage thing" hoping that some poor sap buys into it, and you should have done that 6 years ago when that craze peaked. Unless its balsa otherwise GET A CLUE

That board depending on condition should be in the $300-$400 range.

There is a certain someone from NH that posts on this forum that has several logins on this site that does similar vintage board antics but I think more of his stick was to find vintage boards and then offer crap for them from people and then mark them up considerbly.

Whoa Hold on Mr C5rusty, You rat a guy out, Then you try to say that its wrong to buy low and sell high? Have you ever been to Brimfield? I have to ask one question, Do you drink coffee? Im guessing yes. Why do we pay $150 to Dunkin Dognuts for a coffee that only costs pennies to put out. Do you question the price of everything?
