I'm thinking of buying a board from them, looks good, good feedback from purchasers on ebay, but I'm still a bit leary.

nice... i like the blue volcano... and jesus ebay is cheap... $113 right now for that thing and there have already been 6 bids.

I think that's why I'm so leary, WHY are they so cheap?

I had a hawaiian sleds board - bought it new and absolutely loved it for the first month or two. Lightweight, rode well. :mad: BUT after a couple of months it started chipping - I babied it like I do all of my boards, but it dinged just looking at it. Professional repair jobs didn't hold- the glass just flaked off like tiny little delams. Durable glass job to resist dings my a**. Maybe the cold CA waters made it brittle? I don't know- but I'd NEVER buy one again. I'm back to local shapers and happy again.
