What kind of shit was Seamonkey trying to pull?
Been getting TSJ for about 3 years now. I have considered buying the hardbound volumes because it is such a great magazine. Of course, there are those who wouldn't agree and would say that other mags are better because the photos are more "cutting edge." (See USVIguy's reply in "Counter This" thread from August. What a tool.)

i only buy the higher quality rags. TSJ, the surfers path, and water. you spend more but its more like a book then a magazine. the journal is like a history book mostly, water is more "cutting edge" and the path is just cool to see a foreign perspective(and theyre a green mag).
i never buy surfer/surfing/transworld/blah blah blah unless im taking a flight or long ride and have already read and reread the latest quarterly mag.
are the hardbound TSJ's worth the price?
