Stolen/missing board

JC MPB model, clear with a West sticker on the nose. Board was taken Sunday evening in Newport RI.

Any info would be appreciated.

what the fuck! more and more boards i see stolen on this forum why do people feel the need to take surfboards if they were real surfers they would no what it was like to have your baby taken from you. im actually gonna look out for this board and deck that fucker who took it with the louisville slugger in my trunk. You should throw up pictures of it in the surf shops with "STOLEN" in big bold letters at the top. Have a reward or something.

I have heard of people throwing up some weird stuff, but to vomit pictures of a stolen surfboard, and in a surfshop, that'd be something! I'd give him the reward money right there.

PS - Sorry to hear about the board. I agree that most committed veteran surfers would never do such a thing.

H2O - just curious - was this an honest mistake by you (as in, "I was really stoned and forgot my board was actually under my arm when I wrote this post.") or the perp (as in "I was really stoned and mistook H2O's JC for my Bic Minimal.") or was the board actually stolen and returned/retrieved? Inquiring minds want to know.

I posted this for a friend who's board was stolen. It was turned in a couple days later to the local police station and returned to its owner. Thanks for your concern.

I think that's the best news I have ever seen in the stolen board posts - well except for the time that kid had his skimboard taken. That was probably the best thing that could have happened to him.

I’ve seen one of my friends bring a couple boards down to the beach from his car stoned out of his mind. After a session he went back to his car with only one board under his arm. Back at his car he realized the other one wasn’t there, he freaked out saying someone stole it and I played along. I kept my mouth shut to observe how he react to the situation and he almost beat up a group of kids who looked sketchy. Once the situation was had entertained me enough I told him where he left the board. That was a dumbest thing I’ve ever seen someone high do.
