Selling 2000 black nissan xterra XE V6. 117,000 mi, manual, power everything, cruise control, 4wd, all terrain tires, full new rear suspension(leaf springs and shocks), new e-break, new serpentine belt, new timing belt, 6 month old brakes/rotors. 4wd shift on the fly. No work on the clutch. I have been driving standards since the day I got my license so it has been driven right for the life of it. Drove a pathfinder for 200k+ and never touched the transmission. I need a pickup truck for work and it's the only reason I am selling it. All around great rig. I have the title so it's yours outright the day you buy it. Private party sale valued at $6,760 selling for $6,000
My number is 617-852-2582 Email hartmd_25@yahoo.com I will send pics to anyone interested.

Any work on the clutch yet?

How much?

and the Xterra isn't 4w/all wheel drive all the time. Rear wheel unless in 4wd, correct?

yeh xterras arent full time 4wd, its rear wheel unless in 4 hi or lo.

forgetting all the stupid marketing hype behind the car, it actually is a real nice vehicle, unstopable in snow and sand so far, and has real nice usefull features, like the utility rack, wet storage in front of the rack for a wetsuit booties or fish, and kind of a trunk in the rear cargo area t keep wet things as well.

Clutch in my Toyota lasted until 270K.

You should be able to expect the same form the Nissan,,,,,would be 250K before you would have to think about the clutch.

It is a common problem with early model xterras. They use and aluminum ring inside the clamping mechanism that breaks often because it is aluminum and not steel. It should be very cheap to fix. It cost me 75 bucks the last time I had it done. Although the first quote I recieved was $250. So go to someone you know well.
