We recently received news that a mid 60's Dewey Weber Performer was stolen off the owners porch down in Matunuck.

Here is a description:
It's about 10' 2", has a hatchet fin, off-center leash plug. The deck color is a light yellow (sort of off-white). The deck nose area has a line that sections it off from the rest. It has a glassed in skeg box and has visible work on the nose and in a few other places.

If you see it in the water, try to get some info on the person and send it to stolendwp@nesurf.com (your email will be forwarded to the owner).

More info on the board:
The Weber is yellowed in color, had a Bear Surfboards sticker in the middle on the top, that has peeled off, but the outline of the diamond is still visible. The glassed in black hatchet fin is classic, and I did a little sanding on it, so it will have that wear on it. The fiberglass and resin will be brownish in color, as it ages. It was not clear resin. Medium grade cloth was used. All the dings were repaired completely, so it should feel clean all around.
