Wachusett is a nice little mountain which after two times riding you'll be incredibly bored with. The upside is that the coppertop lounge serves up a nice pint or 10. Smith Walton has a decent pitch, but that's about it. Oh yeah, and the avalanches are always a danger as are the crevasses. An ice axe and shovel in your backpack are definitely necessary if you want to get off that mountain alive.

i figured it would get boring... I'm planning on getting into park a lot more this year and learning how to snowboard.. so I'm sure that should keep me entertained. The season pass was like $150 so I'm sure it'll be worth it.

and I know that Wachusett is a little mountain that isnt nearly as good as Co/Rockie Mtns.. which seem to be the mountain's of choice around here... no need to be sarcastic or mock me for asking how the mountain is.

wachusett is fun on weekday nights after work in the park...I used to have a season pass and jet out there after work and what not. Cant beat playing in a park all night rather than sitting on my fat ass and watching shit reality TV. Surprisingly they have some decent rails and boxes set up. The jumps usually suck unless there's snow and they can build a table larger than 20-30 feet, but like I said the boxes and rail setups can be pretty fun. Beats doing nothing on a weekday night.

WOW I came to realize that most of you don't know a whole lot about surfing but your amazing lack of snowboard/ski knowledge blew me away. (save a very few select members)

That said Whatblowsit I mean Wachusett SUCKS! Its tiny has too many kids on the hill at all times, most of whom you'd think don't know how to walk never mind ski or ride. NO ONE on that hill knows anything about the "Skier/Rider Code" including the ski patrol which makes it rather dangerous at times. Oh and about the park, could be good if you cleared out everyone who didn't know what they were doing, which means just about everyone.

But None the less I still go here. I have found to have fun Follow this Method.
A night at Whatblowsit: Pull up, park, pound beer (called hill enhancer)
Gear up, get free ticket:p
Ride small lift up while strapping in
Get off ride straight to the park, nice little roll about 500ft down directly under the lift good for throwin 180s
Yell dropping 50' before park entrance
Ride through park fencing at full speed
Ollie drop in roller and anyone sitting on it
Hit first jump (ussually a hip, good for alley oop 5's)
Skip 2nd jump (kills speed for 3rd)
Hit BIG kicker (or what they call BIG) throw down!
Ride To Bottom
Repeat
End of Night go up big lift
Do 2 bombing runs on Smith Walton
Then bomb Connifer Jumping the "Road" at full speed until ski patrol yells at you and pulls your ticket
Go to Bar Drink!
Go home

^^that about sums it up.
they had a pretty good setup w/ the stairs/cbox/flat down box/whatever the hell else combo. but it was only used for some rail jam and they took it down. still, like i said, its something to do on a weekday night if you're bored.
