My roomate had a board stolen from a super secret popular left point break in New Hampshire yesterday. It was a byrne pintail 6.0" with red bottom, white deck and glass on fins. Stolen out of a blue jetta along with some cash. Be on the look out.

NH hates people that drive Jettas.
And besides, if you were at a truly "super-secret" spot....who knew you were there?? Worse for you then, is that your spot has been discovered, and will soon appear in a Surfers Journal pictorial layout!!! With articles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INCOMING CROWDS!!!!:D
As for your board loss, that is regretable; next time, lock your car.

just making light of a lousy situation. It is not really a secret spot but more of a popular left. The car was locked as well, the trunk just happens to be broken. Thats the point though it is not like someone saw the board through the windows, it was in the trunk.

Yes, I was making light of the situation also. However, I have noticed that many surfers do go out for a session in these whereabouts leaving spare boards on the cartop, in the trucks back, wide open, unlocked, etc. There are thieves among us, and it is worsening....just take a look at all the heroin busts in the state--need I say more??
Where I grew up, if we left our cars unlocked, a missing surfboard would be the least of our problems....
Trust me folks....lock your cars with gear inside. It does make things harder, lessening easy opportunities. The days of yesterday are exactly that, days gone by.
