Car Break in at Elemental in Middletown RI

Friday night July 21st, between 4-6pm in the parking lot of Elemental, my car was broken into. No boards stolen but 1 Rip curl 3/2 wetsuit, leashes + other minor surf gear, wallet, laptop, Ipod and other personal items. Over $2000 worth of stuff...

I've always thought that the parking lots of surf shops were a relatively safe place to leave your gear. You'd think with the car/customer traffic near Elemental that it would be OK. Guess not. :no:

guys, now a days, u just cant be safe ne where. the best thing to do now a days is invest in an alarm. they are expensive but worth it. it really, truely chaps my ass that some one from the surf communtiy would steal from another, but i guess it happens. if you guys want alarms, let me know, i can either install it for u, or hook ya up with the info and if i hear anything, ill b on here in a heart beat. i hate that shit. if you want something, get a job and buy it. dont steal from some one who works hard for their gear, esp laptops and such, that shit can break a person...thats fucked up school work, work related stuff, you shouldnt mess with that shit. again, im sorry and i will let ya know if i hear ne thing. good luck guys, write a police report, call insurance and hope for the best.
