Thanks to everyone for your interest. It went to a good person and good surfer.

This is the original noserider that all noseriders have been modeled after. First designed in 1965 by Bing Copeland and Donald Takayama. This board is shaped according to the classic 60s design and consists of a deep tear-drop concave for lift, using the heavier Classic Clark blank with t-band stringer, 10 oz. volan fiberglass, red competition band and glassed on fin.

Serial Number: 2127
Length: 10’-0”
Nose: 18 ½”
Middle:24
Tail: 16 ¼”
Thickness: 3 1/8”

This board is very lightly used with the normal heel dents from a few surf sessions. One spider web on the rail did not break the resin (photo available). Two very small pressure dings on the deck are water tight (photos available)
New 10’-0” Classic Clark foam Bing Noseriders sell for $1,500 - $1,600. If you are looking for a classic or a collectors item this it.

More pics available, send me a PM.
Thanks and good luck

Hi Murphy,

Currently Matt is seeking a source to manufacture the same stringer set-up.
Matt has put a hold on all the Noseriders that he has in his remaining stock, so if you see one at a decent price you better pick it up.
Ebay has seen a few new ones that were made just prior to the Clark shut down and they have brought top dollar. $1500+

No, I didn't buy the board from Symon.

Just wondering as he had one a while back in the shop, sweet board anyway. I'd keep a hold of it if you can.

"clark classic foam"- a sign of the times...

I apologize for not being more specific about my description "classic clark foam". Please see the info copied from the Clark website describing different types of blanks.

Copied from the Clark web site:

CLARK FOAM has a commitment to maintain the capability of manufacturing on a custom order basis a wide variety of blank sizes, weights, rockers, types of stringers (including extra wide ), glue colors and stringer combinations. As part of this commitment, we offer the following weights in all blank sizes:

SUPERGREEN, the heaviest/strongest of the four stock weights.
SUPERBLUE, approximately 5% lighter than Supergreen.
NEW SUPERLIGHT, approximately 9.5% lighter than Supergreen.
ULTRALIGHT, approximately 12% lighter than Supergreen. This is our experimental weight and is subject to density or weight change without notice.

We also continue to offer the three older high density formulations on a custom order basis:

CLASSIC (formerly Superlight), approximately 8.5% heavier than Supergreen.
LIGHT, approximately 22.5% heavier than Supergreen.
REGULAR, approximately 38.5% heavier than Supergreen.
