Hello everyone,
I've recently moved to a small condo and need to sell some stuff. I'm selling a 9' 10" Brock Jones model, Bruce Jones longboard. It has been hanging on my wall for a couple of years and has never been used. The board is beautiful and perfect. Description off the Bruce Jones website (7.5 oz volan gray opaque resin color bottom, blue opaque inlay, 7.5oz Volan deck, concave nose, black pinlines, single fin box, glossed and polished finish US$700.00)
Looking to get $500.00 and will accept paypal. E-mail me and I'll send some pics if interested. kmanz@mac.com Board is located in Boston.
Thank you.
Marc

I have a few comments here.
First, how and the fuck did you have that board and not ride it for two years? Are you serious? Are you the biggest poser to ever present yourself on this site? Are you afraid of water? Do you only "shortboard"? Did you suffer a crippling accident? I don't think I could stare down that board for 24 hours without at least taking it for a paddle.
Second, props to the person who bought that board for $500. That is a $800-$1000 board no sweat.
I am now speachless
KAMZ You have to be a moron to have that board and not get some salt water on it. WTF?

It the newest craze. Instead of collecting paintings, you buy brand new boards and hang them on your wall. Its a great way to impress your guests when you have them over for dinner.

Its alot like driving around town with boards strapped on when there are no waves. Look at me I'm a surfer.

are my rants about 'metropolitan" boston surfers justified or what?....look at the straps holdin that thing up....had to get the "metallic" look huh? just another person sucking the life out of surfing from one of its exposed teets that has been presented by marketing whores...christ and from the look of the wall in the background I would guess your one of those city folks who moved into one of the factories or abandoned buildings that were converted by greedy developers to gentrify a neighborhood (probably working class to upper mid /upper) and sold to the likes of you....so when can i expect you to show up at my break in an expensive car and totally fuck up my day by doing stupid shit in the water?

I'd say 'Or what.' "one of those factories or abandoned buildings" being renovated is the epitome of sustainable, environmentally friendly design and architecture. What's your proposal, tear down a perfectly good building and build some new building (which will likely be a reproduction of an old building) and in the meantime create massive amounts of unneccessary waste, using toxic chemicals, and wasting perfectly good building materials? And since when is making a run down neighborhood a nice place to live a bad thing? What's it to you anyway? This guy took a two hundred dollar loss and passed it on to the surfing community. You should send him a letter of thanks for driving down the price of the boards which are sold to you by the same 'marketing whores,' who sold it to him. Don't just rant to rant... think before you write.
That board is a great way to get chicks and "seal the deal". You meet them at a bar, you get them back to your place for a nightcap, then just as they are heading for the door you say "ohh, wanna check out my surfboard, its in the bedroom hanging over my bed, yah I rode it at pipe last year."
You fail to tell her (a) you dont know where "Pipe" is exactly and (b) that board has never seen the ocean.

or you could keep it up so local teenagers have a place to smoke pot, drink private stock, and "score" with Maureen O'Donnely for the first time......and if you think one lone d-bag getting taken for not knowing the money he could get from a board is gonna drive down the market you are either retarded or a republican.....and if the old building was torn down the local vagrants could take the scrapmetal and sell it to buy more private stock thus contributing to the good workers at Falstaff Brewing Corporation

but then again you probably only drink organic microbrews or whatever the fuck yuppies are drinkin nowadays, cityslicker
